The US government is currently in the process of refining an extensive domestic spy network that collects, stores and analyzes data about thousands of American citizens and residents.

According to the Washington Post, a number of law enforcement agencies are actively participating in the rapidly evolving network, including the FBI, local police, state homeland security offices and military criminal investigators.

www.tgdaily.com...

Americans are being spied on.

What do I make of this?

Well, I have read couple of books about the Nazi era and their huge domestic spy networks, to find out whether anyone is helping Jews, or safeguarding them, or giving them shelter etc.

You can call this soft Nazis-ism.

Does it have the potential to get hard and worse? Yes it does.

At least that is what I think.

The Nazi situation started soft also, but then slowly got worse and worse.

Very interesting times non the less.

What do you guys think about being spied on?

What is the possibility of you being spied on right now? Without any prior knowledge? How can you be sure if your name is not already in a database of watch lists? etc

Thoughts

I am 99% sure I'm on some list after viewing wikileaks cables, and I don't really care (though I am against the idea of domestic spying in general).

So some NSA goon keeps track of the sites I visit...all I have it say to that is I hope they are also fond of lesbians

The amount of data from every american couldnt be looked at as a whole. Do you know how long it would take to look at all that info? Yes they may collect data on everyone, But most likely only look into the people that Are suspicious. Those people would pretty much be the criminal elements And people on sites like this
You know all of us crazy people cant be trusted. We know to much

I for one believe, the more US citizens wake up, the more intensive the domestic program will get.

If American citizens are passive, you won't see the US government acting like a totalitarian regime, but when they demand for their rights, the US will act more and more like a totalitarian regime.

It is all deception, hence, you are to deceive your own population as much as your enemy.

Last week over hundred peaceful protesters were arrested, if I recall correctly.

Only someone with ulterior motives would be concerned by this. Nothing new here.

FBI spies on everyone in the US. It shouldn't concern to you since you're in Australia. If you're concerned by this, maybe you shouldn't never visit here. Just looking out for you!

Since you hate Americans, there's no reason for you to visit.

The question is...how gullible are people. Weve al learned teh FED and governemnt is not our friends, so why would the pulbic go and snitch on eachother, knowing they are putting us into the streets and taking our jobs away...how naieve of them.
dotn tell dont snitch* unless its murder, then yeah ide say something,.someone planning to bomb something yes ide say soemthing...but it seems 9 years later, were the ones under homeland securitys eyes , not bin laden*
that george orwellian and NWO stuff...its true thier planning a takeover in the image of the corporations.money=power* and were less than livetock

Its to take away our freedoms and libertys, turn this beutiful country ino a 3rd world conuntry, viia bankrupting it, so corporations will have total control along with governement. How else does one explain whats goin on* im 35 and since the 80's eveerything seemed peaceful more or less, at least under democracy* capitalism NEEDS to be abloished* you can thank george bush jr for this all. not only can our government not balanace thier checkbook, they cant find 1 man, over in afghanistan. what an embarrsement* those who listen too what htey tell yout od, like nepoltino....dont. turning brother agianst brother, sister against sister, thats what the nazis did too the jews.
but at least, when the alliles ivaded france and liberated towns, collaberators too and for the nazis, women, who also shared realtionships, were pulled into the public street, thier hair shaved off to a badl head, and publicly humiliated...remember that. i thin the same example should be made too our leaders* its a way to get a message out from those who care without resorting to stalin measures*
WWII, normady, in a day, not did we only break a hole through the defenses, through scary and out weaponed statistics...within 8 months, made it to Berlin. here we are 9 years later, and cant find 1 man. something is DEF wrong very wrong. i think, bin laden is a fried fo the BUSH family as its said y many ive talked too about it, in person. remember WTC& had documents in it, of wall street people under ivestigation and court. thiers a reason they wanted the twin towers to come down, and of course, doing it out in the open of the pulbic would have been illegal, and they knew people would have been up in arms over it. they did it to keep it quiet and sneaky* hat is my belif. the WTC& had to go as well, in order to impose this snitching crap, as one example. its a breakdown...step by step to bring in socialism or communism, most likely socialism.

Illegal Domestic Spying

Today the government is spying on Americans in ways the founders of our country never could have imagined. Intelligence agencies, the military, state and local police, private companies, and even emergency services are gathering detailed information and sharing it through new institutions like joint terrorism task forces, fusion centers, and public-private partnerships, allowing any one of them to instantly produce electronic dossiers on ordinary Americans with a simple mouse-click.

More

I'm still trying to figure out whether any of this illegal or not.

Any help to figure it out?

I don't think the fbi is spying on everyone and creating some database...

If you call finding terrorist and honing in on their sophisticated communication is consider spying on *everyone* then you got another thing coming.

Spying on everyone, meaning spying on anyone they please.

Obviously they are not gonna spy on everyone at once, I'm saying they have the power (illegal), to spy on anyone they want.

I could be wrong, but from what I'm reading, it seems to be true.

If I'm wrong, then please help me prove myself wrong.

No. Look up the Magna Carta.

Origin of the English Free Man. Our Constitution's corner stone, is the Magna Carta.

The Federal Governments database on it's citizens is 100% ILLEGAL. Unless we are no longer Free Men.

This one from Wikipedia, am I on the right track?

Magna Carta is an English charter, originally issued in the year 1215, and reissued later in the 13th century in modified versions that omit certain temporary provisions, including the most direct challenges to the monarch's authority. The charter first passed into law in 1225. The 1297 version, with the long title (originally in Latin) The Great Charter of the Liberties of England, and of the Liberties of the Forest, still remains on the statute books of England and Wales.

For in(the Act) it gives the Leo's the right to do so, NSA TSA DHS FBI State and local as well as out side agencies have the right, power, and authority to do what they seem fit with out due proses, in the name of National Security, thus declaring the Constitution, null and void, you I and any one are to them, a threat and terrorist, till determined otherwise, no time limit, in fact they can detain you or I, Indefinitely, with out being charge of a crime offense or by court of law, no judge no jury.

Thanks for the help.

I think it is something like this I suppose?

A state of emergency that has been in force in the Thai capital Bangkok for more than eight months is being lifted.

www.bbc.co.uk...

Is that what it is called.

From what I know, that is the only time when you can scrap the constitution?
