When you see this article ON CNBC of all people, you know the EU is in trouble... OH YEAH BABY.

Has the EU Already Broken Up?

What if the European Union broke up—and nobody bothered to tell you about it? Well, some are speculating that it has already happened.

Of course, the modality of this breakup isn't an ostentatious Inverse Maastricht Treaty. There have been no ribbon cuttings—nor televised photo ops of smiling finance ministers walking across a national border.

There hasn't even been the kind of somber debate, often heard on BBC News or C-SPAN, hashing out the various merits and disadvantages of such proposal.

It just happened—in the course of doing business.

As I observed in a piece about the possibility of a looming fiscal crisis in the United States: "The most powerful force in the universe isn't love: It's the bond markets."

So, how have the bond markets in Europe been driving a breakup inside the Union that few outside the world of sovereign finance have noticed?

In London, the Financial Times blog Alphaville has been exploring just such an idea.

THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!
Take that you scumbag globalists!

And for some added goodness... Farage kicking some European butts and calling the EU almost dead...

I wish the US congress called each other out like that!

Not so many people would want to be politicians!

Update... GERMANY IS AFRAID OF COLLAPSE... you can bet many in Germany right now are thinking about leaving the EU for good...

EU rescue costs start to threaten Germany itself

The escalating debt crisis on the eurozone periphery is starting to contaminate the creditworthiness of Germany and the core states of monetary union.

MWAHAHAHAHA DIE EU, DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just the fact that the individual areas can't set their own interest rates means they can not adjust the currencies to actual regional disparities in production of wealth, but then the only reason the EU was invented may be already past...lf the wealth has beeen stolen now they can let it fall apart, and wipe out the traces of the crime like building Seven's collapse wiped out the trail of Donald Ruplstiltskins missing trillions prior to 911.

The EU was only ever about cheap labour and using that to keep wages down.

Places like China have undercut even our low wage culture and so the EU has no other function than a pension for failed politicians.

We need to castrate the Euro dictators while they are down. Same for the rest of the NWO crowd.
These countries need real leaders, and I include the USA of course. Default, and then round up the banksters.
