I wrote a thread some time ago about our loss of individuality and the apparent irresistible urge that people have to connect.
www.abovetopsecret.com...
It seems that putting my thoughts down has not appeased my anger and I feel the need to once again to have a go. I was reading the other day that
Twitter was hacked and that people were being redirected to porn sites. Apparently Sarah Brown (ex british prime minister Gordon Brown's wife) was
also a victim. Now why do I mention her. Well, simply because reputable newspapers have informed us that she has a million people following her on
Twitter. May be not as much as Paris Hilton who has been twitting away about the refusal of Japanese immigration to let her in. Do we really care ?
Why are millions of people following others' every move and comments.
First we had soap TV, then reality TV , the we get Big Brother shows, now Twitter. Here we have a nation living vicariously , I mean living through
other people. Add to this instant messaging , mobile texting, Android phones folowing your Facebook mates, etc . It is clear that the majority of
people have lost the ability to carve their own destiny. Instead they are driven - 400 million on Facebook and millions more on other social
networking site.
The battle against NWO and Globalism was lost a long time ago. All people seem to want to do is to live in a one-world scenario, with one idea, one
purpose and , above all , to share..share...share..share and keep shaaaaarrrriiiinnnnggggggg. The fact that the Facebook owners said that no
individual has a right to privacy on the internet does not seem to bother most people. Even the UK and US governments has to intervene to stop
Facebook from removing the safeguards that kept privacy by default. Ironic isn't it ? Big Brother governments coming to the rescue of the people from
the invasion of privacy by Facebook.
I will not keep ranting. If there is anything I can achieve here is perhaps coin a new word
For Facebook read Fessebook (I leave it to you to find out what fesse means in french)
For Twitter, well the english word twit (meaning idiot ) is appropriate.
For those who wish to spend their lives following others' lives , good luck to you.
This is a bit off my usual topic , as you can see from my avatar. I will therefore make a quick dash to the edge of the galaxy where Facebook and
Twitter do not exist.
