This is very interesting look at selection. Obviously, they can't show everything in the 2 week assessment course in 2 hours, but it is what it is.

Also, selection at the end of the course is only the right to start training. During training many other people quit or are removed from the course.

Before you can attend SFAS, you have to do a pre-qual, which consists of a PT test and swim test in full BDU's - a little harder than one would think, as seen during the swim test were 7 of the 10 of us failed...


The awesome thing about SFAS and the Q course, is that it is a Congressionally mandated school...meaning ANYONE (E-4 and up) can attend...so, if your 1st Sergent or Sergent Major don't like you, too bad...
