Iraq's Reality-TV Car-Bomb Show a Real Blast, Some Viewers Say

In what appears to be a cross between "Candid Camera," "Punk'd" and the Academy Award-winning film "The Hurt Locker," Iraqi celebrities are told they will be going to jail or may be executed when the "bombs" are discovered by soldiers at a fake checkpoint in Baghdad.

En route, when Iraqi soldiers cooperating in the prank stop the celebrities at a checkpoint, a fake bomb is planted in their cars.

The celebrities are secretly filmed as the soldiers shout at them with increasing drama.


I'm not usually one to be overly-sensitive but, to me, this seems inappropriate.

What do you guys think?
