Official: 2nd killed in flooding swamping Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas – Authorities say flooding from the remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine has killed a second person who was swept away from his pickup truck.

Flooding has also swamped parts of northern Texas, including Arlington, west of Dallas.

I live in the area and thought I would share this. The rain was pretty heavy, but its not like we havent had this before. In my area, all the same roads that were flooded in the past, are flooded again. Nothing really new. Some other areas got hit harder from what Ive heard. A few places had to be evacuated. It sucks for the 2 people that died, but it happens.

Hopefully it dosent rain anymore in the next couple of days here. Its sunny at the moment where I am, but Texas weather is one of a kind......well, kind of.
