Poster for new Alien Invasion Movie

Actually looks pretty good..Should be better than District 9 anyway. It's called Skyline and it comes out November 11th.



Here's the Plot:
After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them.

mabye but the poster doen't give away much.
it will have all the good special effects we love to see but im more interested in a good story with decent characters.
district 9 was ok and quite original but i don't think of it as one of the great alien invasion movies.

I guess..it was too PG-13 for me, I feel if aliens finally make contact, there is a 0% possibility it will even remotely be like District 9.

dark city is about aliens experimenting with humans without their knowledge by swapping memories around and changing everything without anyone realizing in order to find what we call a soul.
i don't want to give too much away because i recommend you watch it.
one of my favourite films.

thanks, i've seen close encounters and enjoyed it.
invasion of the body snatchers was a favourite of mine years ago.
already own the thing but for some reason forgot to mention it on my list.

just read some of the plot of the others and they seem like my kinda film.
must buy more movies now.

Ever seen "Dreamcatcher", it's a Stephen King alien story.

Gruesome but very interesting.


Another one is "Altered" about a group of friends that capture an Alien.

dreamcatcher had its moments, those wierd anal slugs were messed up.
i forgot that it was a stephen king film, mabye his best (my opinion).

Skyline looks awesome. Those things being sucked up are people!

You're right District Nine and The Fourth Kind were both big disappointments to me anyway.

Reading a really good book and Skyline reminds me of it, Maximillien De Lafayette's The Anunnaki Final Waring to Earth, and their Return in 2022 5th Edition. Page 205 Tool of Annihililation.

Yes, "Skyline" looks like a interesting movie. I will see it for sure.

Best "Invasion" movies ever?....I don't remember the name of it, but it's a old movie now. Any one remembers the name of a movie where the aliens are harvesting humans for feeding proposes, but they all look like mad monstrous clowns? They intertain and lure the humans with "simple" funny clown acts that always ends in the humans death.
I love that movie. It give me the creeps...brrrr!



P.S.- I remembered, it's called "Killer Klowns from Outer Space",a "B" class movie (1988), but very funny
