A little girl named Jewls asks Dr. Ross,

"what is harder than life"?

The doctor stops and pauses in time, suddenly the answer comes to him and he says with a calm and confident voice,

"the creation of life".

Thoughts..

Life isn't even that hard, but we insist in making complications for ourselves.
As for creating life...what happened to planting and sex?

Which is why we're all busy destroying it instead.

Just don't forget the mop, it creates quite the mess.

Having the ability to plant and have intercourse is part of life.

Good point to lay in the first post though.

harder is to THINK, I suppose

I just look around, and there are not a lot of people willing to ...

That's akin to asking "what's scarier than fear?"

Thats deep...a little girl thinks this way? is this a true story?
anyway, I tend to agree with the poster above that thinking is harder because there is no map on how you are supposed to do it and your opinion can change like the days of the week.

I've often viewed my mind as part of this universe and yet not fully a part of the universe too....kinda of hard to explain but you get what I'm saying?

Thinking is also part of life, so what is harder than life?

Good thought to take in to consideration, a lot of people in ATS have given up thinking, or they are just trying to turn ATSers in to Sheep, that way couple of DOGS can scare them from one corner to another corner like we are seeing these days, how everyone jumps in a hate thread, knowing the thread has no merits, but just imposes hate, fear and terror towards and against certain people.

Great thoughts

wow ... sorry, I read what is HARDER in LIFE

I didnt read THAN

to answer your thread then

what is HARDER than LIFE? well, the question is totality non sense, there is no way to reply to that ... what perspective? what context? I could have infinite different answers for different contexts of this question

in the human context, there cant be nothing harder than life, simply because we dont know if we have anything else than LIFE, therefore, there is nothing to compare

and to add: I didnt thought the question was a lot deep as some just said, I thought the question didnt make sense, and the only way to answer properly is to put a context in it ...

How can we put it to context? Explain a little?

It seems you can't answer the question? Or refuse to do so?

What is harder than life?

That is why the doctor paused in time, thinking about the answer.

I think Diamonds are harder than life

most life is pretty soft and squishy but even the hardest life can't stand up to a Diamond

Hey Moozi,
i agree with above the question is lacking context
such as in a cirtain region or for a certain person or line of work.
Your english is slowly improving Mooz, you sure that wasnt you
asking the doc that question and not a little girl? I think youve had
an answer for this question all along, let me guess CREATION...

Yes it is true, I had a fight on Saturday and visited the hospital to stitch the cut on my left eye.

The girl was young, but obviously had thoughts which even some adults lack of.

Then again there are amazing kids around the world which people are ignorant about, for example the kid in Africa who at the age of 4 knew the whole Quran and knew the "Hadith" (historical sayings of Mohammad the prophet).

It is damn amazing because a 4 year old kid knew history, makes you wonder doesn't it?

Initially when I read your post, it was indeed that which stuck out to me most. The question to me was insightful and I was trying to equate that with the intellect of a little girl. I'm assuming this was a prepubescent girl, which makes the inquiry even more amazing, IMO.

Good question and great answer. Probably the only answer there is, too.
