Of course, the officer lies through his teeth about the incident, which just goes to show how big of a scum-bag this criminal is. Folks, we are no
longer at a point where the cops are any better than the alleged criminals they are commissioned to protect us from. In fact, I would even venture to
say that they are often worse.
I'm not saying that all cops are bad, though I trust the police about as much as I trust convicted inmates and sometimes even less. At least
convicted inmates have repurcussions to their actions.
With all of this being said, this little incident is the tip of the ice-berg. I'm sure, in fact I know, that this type of incident happens far more
often than reported on. Think how many times that a camera isn't trained on the incident. Then, out of the few times that it does happen to be caught
on camera, how often is the tape released, as opposed to covered up? In fact, I'm sure that the only reason why this wasn't covered up, is because
the victim's father is a Deputy Sheriff.
It's a sad day in age, when you have to fear the police over everyone else. It's a sad day in age when the police have turned into the biggest thugs
of all.
You see, when you are beat by a cop, there is nothing you can do. Fight back and you could be killed, though at the very least, you will be charged
with assault on a police officer. When you are beat by a/ cop/s, nobody is coming to your rescue, not even the friends you are with, as they too will
face the same beating and charges. Nine times out of ten, when you are beat by a cop, you can expect little to no justice at all. In fact, the best
you can hope for, is to have your frivolous charges dropped and maybe 1/1000 chances (est) to have the cop fired, at most.
The people of America are being terrorized by the very force we commissioned to protect us and there is nothing we can do about it. Instead of taking
all of the incidents that have been blown in the open and painting a bigger picture with it, we focus on each one, as if it's an isolated case. This
is non-sense and with no other entity in the world, would we cut so much slack.
Again, I'm not saying that all cops are criminal thugs, though many, if not most, actually are and those give a bad name to the force at large. If
you go through out life being constantly terrorized by ice-cream vendors, you are going to distrust ice-cream vendors and most likely, you won't
patronize ice-cream trucks or establishments. Unfortunately, we can't really escape the police and therefore they are treated with hostility. Is it
really that hard to imagine why?
Sadly, the laws are only giving the police more and more powers, making the citizens more and more powerless. They are supposed to serve us, not
oppress and/or terrorize us. As time goes on, we can only expect more and more of this and it will only become more and more brutal.
Power to the Public!
