Govt. sites undergoing maintainence, Obama closes transparency...

Are these two related? Obama Closes Curtain on Transparency

I noticed this today, and in light of current trends I think the two may be related. The trends I'm referring to are:
-Talk of the 'internet kill switch'
-Cass Sunstein's end of 'conspiracy theories'
-Google's talk of the end of anonymity on the web
More trends and indications of censoring and controlling the internet, and the flow of information.

I admit it may be a stretch, but considering the overall flow of events in the past few years I think that this may actually just be a series of seemingly seperate occurences that are all part of a much larger move. Like many have said Obama's moves are never a surprise anymore. He is a three faced liar and a spin artist. Is there a change coming for FOIA law? A new government policy beginning, possibly the re-classification of old documents? Time will tell, but TPTB have made it clear that controlling the internet and 'turning the lights off' is at the top of their agenda. They have been exposed and now even people I don't know tell me they don't believe the media, and talk to me about things that just a year or so ago were strictly ATS subject matter. Anyway whats all of your opinions on this?

Even if I'm off here, I still think keeping the net open is where the information war is at right now...

A website down for maintenance? Pffft, I doubt that. This is obviously part of some covert Kenyan Muslim plan to implement the total control grid and fire up those FEMA trains.

Edit to add: OH NO! BTJunkie and Furnituresex are both down for maintenance too!!!! This is more evil and nefarious than I thought!

Edit to add: BTJunkie is back up. This is some sneaky sneaky stuff. Since when do websites go down for maintenance. I sense the reptillians and pleadians might be in on this too.

Making the leap from typical web related site downtime to Obama hiding something from you? Sorry but it just seems a bit silly to me. How do you suppose the web works? For what reason would the site need to go down for Obama to do anything?

Yeahhh i def agree with you OP. i mean its kinda weird how Obama has gone back on a lot of his "fundamental ideas" since hes been in office for a while. Im afraid he has been spoiled by the lobbyists and conglomerates. its a lil too late. but atleast we got some kind of pro out of it. Health care reform.
