These seem to files left over from a Linux Virus Scan. I dual boot a system with Win98 and Lindows. The Lindows version has a Virus Safe canner powered by Vexira Antivirus. After a scheduled or forced scan, the files are created as a tally of scan results for major or most directorys and subdirectorys. I would suspect if you have a similar scanning software, the same results would be found. They are not viruses!
