Israel 'fully responsible for any attack': Lebanon

BEIRUT — Lebanon said on Tuesday it would hold Israel responsible for any attack, in response to Israeli warnings that it would use "all necessary force" to stop aid boats planning to sail to blockaded Gaza.

"Israel will be held fully responsible for any attack on Lebanon," the foreign ministry said in a letter to the United Nations.

Sounds to me as if Lebanon is worried and preparing for some additional trouble with Israel. Can't blame them for being gunshy. The UN will probably be about as worthless as they usually are in that region and ineffective in having any influence on Israel, but at least it's on record, I guess.

Looking at everything going on in the Middle East this week, it's sure looking more and more like something's brewing. This is a lot of activity in a very short time from a lot of different angles.

Definately something to keep an eye on.
