Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad left Sunday for the United States to take part in a conference on nuclear nonproliferation, a Foreign Ministry spokesman told state television.
Ahmadinejad will address the the United Nations Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty review conference in New York on Monday, spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told Iran's News Network.

I don't think this is the point. The point is, the US has nuclear weapons. They should be able to have them also.
If the US did away with all their nuclear weapons, then possibly other countries would not feel the need to have them, either.
