And again I say, you're acting like the only choices on the market are "ton of salt" and "now with added salt" when it's not. There are plenty of low-sodium options on the market with more being added all the time. Companies are doing this voluntarily because some consumers want it. Why add bureaucracy where it's not needed?

Exactly the point. Let consumers drive companies to change. We have an incredible amount of power to change industries and products.

No government mandate for canvas bags was needed, yet they line the aisles of EVERY store.

Adding bureaucracy does nothing but drive up the cost.
