While making another thread on the Navy Departments testing of a replacement for the Hummer... (See that thread here www.abovetopsecret.com...)
I got to thinking about civilian Survival Vehicles and ran across this very cool

Now I don't even need to ask... I know this is well out of my price range but it does give me some cool, do it myself ideas, I can do to my own truck

Very good find, and a great idea!

I would love to have one in my garage , but it is out of my price range aswell, but in the end I guess its better to build one yourself, it sure is missing solar panels and small wind turbines for self-efficient electricity supply.

very nice.... and i agree with you there are a LOT of good ideas there that could be incorporated into a good full size pick up...

More than i would want to spend on a vehicle that is someone elses design... To many changes that we would have to make and it (for us) would defeat the purpose...
