He is gonna spend 2+ billion to create 17,000 jobs building wind turbines that don't produce any energy. That should cover the jobs we lost last week. This guy sucks.I always thought an intelligent man would change his position when he's wrong. What does that say about bo?

Wow he really like that Ohio turbine company

Obama, at Ohio Wind Turbine Plant, Pushes Stimulus

Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- President-elect Barack Obama used the backdrop of an Ohio manufacturing plant to build support for his economic stimulus plan, telling workers there the U.S. is in the middle of crisis unlike any “in our lifetime.” With four days to go before he takes office, Obama is pressing lawmakers in Washington to act quickly on a two-year recovery plan. Congressional leaders have promised to get the legislation to his desk by mid-February

My Messiah's never been on TV....they didn't have that 2,000 yrs. ago....

I wouldn't mind building some turbines though, that sounds like fun- any previous experience necessary?

I'm an electrician, I thought about trying to sell them.If you put a small one on your house and the wind blows constantly you can run about 10 lights or a blow dryer or a vacuum well you get the picture.

Have you noticed that solar panel prices are dropping?
1 reason -China -
-----------------------------------
Also, we can see Obama is in Full Damage Control mode right now.
Have you heard that latest damage control words?
"We are at war."

No kidding!

Bill O'reilly seems confused.
"Well, if we are at war why are reading rights to the underwear
bomber? Now he can just lawyer up!"

Solar panels and wind turbines don't cut the mustard I don't care how cheap.

Did you catch his 2 minute speech today?Basically a rehash of we need to get off foreign oil and green energy for the planet and 2 bil to this place I posted and see ya.He really seems agitated to have to deal with this stuff .He just wants to get on with screwing America and be done with it .Mark my words he will not run for a second term

Keep it under your hat, but the real Messiah is currently traveling around the world, becoming human again by experiencing life as a human. He (a man) is not the same as Jesus, so don't look for somebody who looks like the guy in the paintings. He is a different person with different experiences and knowledge. Yet he is the Messiah, none the less.

He doesn't flaunt his identity, nor does he hide it. He has no group of disciples following him around at the moment. But those near him know who he is. At some point, he will become more well-known.

I don't know where he is right now. Last year he spent a lot of time in Canada. If I knew for sure, I might be reluctant to say.

Bill O'Reilly said last night if we get hit with 1 more terrorist attack
and there are dead bodies laying around Obama is done.
Bye-bye-Obama. Hillary Clinton would probably have to take
his place as the democrat candidate 2012.

Solar panels would be more effective if we found a way to harness
electricity from them 24 hours a day. I was thinking about wrapping
a 4 sided solar panel box around a very bright light pipe that had a
full spectrum light source. I can make the light pipe 130 foot long.
Do the math. More power out than what is being consumed by the
2 sulfur lamps?

Here is the link to the latest and greatest sulfur lamp from LG.
I like the PSF 1012A Model
LG Sulfur Lamp
You would have to run the DC power output from the solar panels
through an inverter to feed back power to the 1,030 watt sulfur lamps.
Hopefully, you would have free power left over.

How come it's only the right wing nut jobs that call Obama the messiah?

And what is wrong with trying to bring industrial jobs back to America? Is there something wrong with trying to rebuild our industry sector again?

Sorry do you prefer Allah?
Why can't you left nuts read a thread?
My problem with this;
2.3 billion divided by 17k=$135,000/job
And it will probably cost $400,000/job before it's over although that's just my opinion
The technology is basically useless, not just my opinion
Allah's plan to save the American unemployed workforce?17k jobs lol
we lost that many last week alone there are 4 million people out of work that is .3% of the out of work people.
And all this to further his agenda on man made global warming which is one of the biggest scams ever pulled on the American people.
And I stated all this earlier in the thread

I still don't see the issue with trying to revitalize the industrial sector. Do you hate jobs in America? Do you not like people working for an honest wage? I don't get it. Yes, it does cost money to start up industry, amazing how that works.

And if you feel Obama is god, by all means, call him whatever you want, I think he is just a man and the president myself. But if he is god to you, well, that's freedom of religion for you.

The point is that green jobs don't exist.....(except in small parts)....We need to create jobs, not green jobs....when the economy is back on track and we do not have rampant unemployment, then, we should look at how to create demand for green products. My fear is that that demand will be created by regulation, rather than by true and cost effective solutions.

Small businesses create jobs here in the USA.
They are afraid to do anything with Obamacare and Cap & Trade hanging over their heads. Obama is doing everything wrong.
I predict by November 1 ,2010 the unemployment rate will be 11%
and the GOP will take control of the House and the Senate.
The Republicans and the Independents will be saying OMG
bring back George W. Bush! This Obama economic quagmire must
go now!
