3 Major Events this week....

1. A Meteor comes near earth.....
2. Yellowstone has an earthquake
3. Brazil power grid goes down.

All in the space of the last 2 days....

We were warned the lead up to 2012 would bring more and more things of this nature.

Is this the start ?

1) Meteors coming close to Earth is not unusual - and that one would of burnt up in an impressive fireball, unlikely it would of made it to the ground in any big way.

2) Yellow stone is seismically active - a 3.whatever quake is interesting but not unexpected.

3) Does Brazil have a particularly reliable power grid? Somehow I doubt it...

Seems like a typical week to me personally - just my opinion...

I agree. Its easy to connect events like this and think something weird is going on, but really they were all explainable or fairly minor happenings.

A big meteor brushed by a few months ago I remember. i think if a big one was going to hit us, we would not really find out until it happened.

Highly unlikely this is "a lead up to something"

But all 3, in days of each other.


We will see in the days/weeks/months ahead.

3) nope, we do -- waaaaay better than california`s power grid (www.aneel.gov.br...).

ps i was going to translate it, but use your translator of choice (2136 pwr plants = 105.834.815 KW), or use your brain: latin and greek suffixes are your friends ^^. and yes, this was quite unusual. the southeast region was the most affected (hardly noticed anything where i live, nothing more than a few surges, backups worked well)
