We see abundant life in all the rivers, lakes, and oceans, as well as on land masses.
My opinion is that life will take hold where ever it can.
Even hydrothermal vents, at the bottom of the deepest parts of the oceans, they team with life. Caustic pools in Yellowstone park, arid deserts, lakes
buried under a kilometer of ice, they all have life.
I'd be shocked if no life was found on Mars, and even more shocked if we never found intelligent life in an area close to us in the Milkyway.
Give a wave to your neighbour, they must be out there.
GO LIFEFORMS..........
I don't see any other purpose for such a vast area as the
entire Universe.
