are you going shopping on black friday?

i have never done it but i have been tossing the idea around for the past couple of days.
i honestly don't know if i could handle the large crowds of people but i really want to get a netbook.

i think i might give it a go...

Going shopping on Black Friday was once a great challenge for my mom and me.

She died in 2001 and I haven't been in a mall since.

If I were to go shopping on Black Friday at this time in my life I'd end up in jail.

I do not take kindly to being pushed, shoved and large crowds of shoppers bring out the insanity in me.

So the answer is no, not now, not ever again.

I only go shopping when I have something I need. There is no joy in spending my money in malls for me.

I usually sit on a bench while my shopping loving man shops.
Weird, I know.

We don't do black friday in most parts of Europe.
ur holiday shopping begins after december 6th, after the "Saint Nicolas day" (another present giving holiday for kids).

Yeah, it's fun.

For me black Friday is amateur shopping day. There is no way I would wait in those lines with the nut bags I have seen in all the years I had to work on that day. People are insane over a few bucks...not worth it IMO.

There should be some good sales pre Xmas. But this year after Christmas will be a shoppers dream with retailers trying to dump excess inventory just to generate some capital to make up for the dismal Christmas season.

"Tis the season to be jolly" not this year if you are a retailer.

I am a partner in a retail endeavor and it don't look good.
