I am just wondering because my buddy has melatonin to get to sleep. But since he went on Ambien (I think that’s what it is), he doesn’t use them for like a year and a half. I really don’t want to spend 20 dollars on a bottle of melatonin, and get no effects. So I am wondering how long melatonin stays good for in the form on sublingual tabs. I have looked on sites and can’t find anything. So I am wondering if you guys know anything about it?

I've had the same bottle for many years. I am certain it is at least a year expired.

Everything has a halflife, so I sure it is on some level a lesser quality than brand new, but they still work for me when I take them once every other month or so.

In fact, they work better on me than any real medication I've ever taken for sleep. They put me down pretty quickly.

I wouldn't worry, but I am no pharmacist.

If sublingual means the ones you dissolve under your tongue, then I don't think so. They're chalky and small but I just swallow them.
