Wow OP, 'kin hilarious! Surely it'll never happen?
I'll tell y'all, I used to work in a chip shop (for Americans, thats a fast food place that sells french fries with @least twice the cross section of American ones, plus things like fish deep fried in batter, pies etc.) as a teen. The cooking operations mainly revolved around 2 large vats of very hot oil. My point is that I had to significantly increase my frequency of washing in order to stop the grease that condensed all over me from giving me serious pimplage...
Just imagine how much Palin would have to spend on hair & make-up standing next to that slimey tub of lard on the stump day after day! That'd take a corporate backer all of its own!

Cheney walking through Washington D.C. must smell like raw meat infested with maggots.

I cannot see how she would not be corrupted by the man, or worse he might off her to take total control of America, and then we're royally screwed.

I've been talking to people all day about this and everyone has nearly puked.

Stop trying to hijack every thread you come across. If you want to expose corruption on either side, feel free to do it elsewhere. This thread is on the topic of two particular candidates from GOP, and your posts are off-topic.

With all due respect to both posters, the entire process is completely corrupt, top to bottom.

When a politician, no matter what position they are in, and or seeking, is bought by a lobbying group, or special interest group, and not fully 100% representing the people who elected them to get into office, meaning the average Joe, then it is a bastardization of the entire process of politics and is plain outright theft of the political machine through manipulating and bypassing the constituency.

Therefore, whether it was Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin, or any other politician, without that politician representing the American citizens as a whole embodiment, without silencing them through political corruption, it is itself a complete sham, scam, and sideshow of political fakery of a puppet show and we are the idiotic audience trapped in the front row knowing full and well that there are idiots behind the curtain with their hands up some puppet's butt making them give on one Hell of a costly show that is robbing us of all respectability as a society.

It saddens me that no one can seek a legitimate political office without cutting someone is on the action through the political Mafioso.

This answers the question "What opposing ticket could be so bad as to give Obama a chance at a second term?".

Yes, I agree.

The man has no intention of correcting our country and the threat of Cheney/Palin is what will scare and terrify the people into re-electing these two idiots.

I wondered why he put off the aura of not giving one damn about the nation.

Now I know, because he knows he's a shoe-in for re-election against this corrupt team.

Yeah, just an opinion piece to keep us talking. Hmm... it's working.

The real question is whether someone else will be the "lone gunman" or if Cheney will just shoot her once she walks in the West Wing calling out DUCK.

It might be an opinion piece, but it sure stirred up opinions.

With all due respect, I'd say the Republican Party has done an excellent job of that all by itself.

I'm not sure I know who that man is beside Sarah Palin but she sure looks terrified.

I sure he isn't someone important because he does not ring any bells with me.

That would be the motor city madman himself, Mr. Ted Nugent.

You can call him Uncle Teddy. He is pretty active in politics also. You should two of his books.

God, Guns and Rock and Roll

and

Ted, White and Blue - The Nugent Manifesto

True, true.

Thank goodness the Democrats are so great, no egg on their face at all. Keep playing their game you poor small minded individual.

Nobody in their right mind would back any ticket with Cheney in it, Palin maybe, but never Cheney.

This is nothing more then the examiner trying to ruffle some feathers.

While I sure can see your point what exact reason would they want to ruffle anyone's feathers?

Publicity to make people buy their rag or intimidation tactics to make people crap their pants?

I can see Palin as a potential but Hell no about Cheney in any sense of the word.

I think the man should have been forcibly escorted off the property and physically kicked out of the and made Persona Non-Grata from the United States of America once Bush and him finished their first term, let alone the second miserable term.

Just to sell papers or just to make the Democratic party look less insane or both.

What better way to take the attention off a Governent run by one party who can't really get along then to say that two of the most hated/loved Republicans are going to run for the white house?

Nobody has hinted at it at all, they just took two of the most conterversial names and slapped them together and told us that they could run in 2012.

Just a stupid article that atleast one liberal a hole on this thread has admitted not to reading, he just had a knee jerk reaction. That gets to me wondering how many more on this thread hasn't read it and had the same knee jerk reaction to the title.

Ah, I see.

I was never a Ted Nugent fan, so I wouldn't know him from any other man on the street.

Why is it that Sarah Palin, her name sounds like an anagram, looks terrified in that picture?

The anagram, Sarah Palin, as in Sarah Plain, another puppet set in place?

My two cnets:

I, personally, would like to see Duncan Hunter run for president. I believe that he represents the conservative ideal. The problem with most of the current conservative leadership in the Repbulican party is that they are not actually conservatives. Palin as a vice might be interesting. I also would back Ron Paul again but it seems that the elite don't want someone who has good intentions for the average people of the country.

For those of you who are worried about the rest of the Obama Administration goals like me, remember:

Carter got us Reagan.

I have never heard of Duncan Hunter.

Got a link to him somehow?

You think Palin would not be just another puppet to the power elite?

Obama was not supposed to be a puppet but I see his strings being pulled.

i just typed a 3000 character post and my internet went rogue and now it's all gone.

So ill leave you with this, slightly less eloquent statement on the subject:

# Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin.

I can agree with you about Cheney, I however have little to no opinion of Palin.

My thoughts on Palin are more in fear of Cheney having her killed once they win the election.

If you use Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, or the Notepad option, you can type out your posts in advance, and save them, spellcheck, and then post them.

After typing out a 25,000 character first post for a thread, I learned.

Never in a thousand years will Cheney run for President. He wasn't even running for President when he was tapped for VP, unlike many others in the past. Old Dick prefers to work in the dark, too much light in front of the cameras as President.

Not going to happen.
DocMoreau

P.S. Palin is not going not going to be on the ticket either. 3 years from now (2 years really), she will have used up all the political currency she has now. Plus quitting as governor has soured her for many who had supported her. They might buy her book, but they wont vote for a quitter.

On both counts, completely.

Yes, I agree, Cheney likes to hide in the shadows.

Know what else hides in the dark and is surrounded by crap, other than Cheney?

Mushrooms.

And, about 2/3's of the politician's on Capitol Hill.

Deniability.

Not sure myself about Palin, she might just be a front, used as a guard, to test the waters.

If she is then she is just the poster-girl for the coming person.

Maybe Hillary Clinton?

God, I hope not.
