SA reports first swine flu death

South Africa has had it's first swine flu death ... just one in hundreds of thousands infected, but I can imagine how the population is going to panic. South Africa tends to take it's cue from the US (we are all terribly influenced by Hollywood).

A Stellenbosch University student has become the first fatality in the Western Cape and in South Africa related to the current Novel Influenza A/ H1N1 illness.

lol here is the very funny thing about this, when this story broke on www.news24.com it took up almost the entire home page with this breaking story, and on www.iol.co.za on the home page there was an artical on this as well

The gov does not want the population to panic and you can hardly find this story by navigation on iol any more and there is a small artical on news24 just telling ppl not to panic, but its one of the last articals on the page.

So within less than 4hours they have removed this story from headlining the websites... wonder what tomorrows news paper will say or even the news
