Yes, Chinese lanterns that move in synchronous orbit around each other and form a triangle at one point.

Any three points in proximity to each other will always form a triangle.
No big deal there.
I don't know anything about lanterns, but tie three things together that float and they are bound to start going around each other.

Having said all that, I wish this was a real ufo.

Me too, Its not the video that I think is a good find, it was because it was a mass sighting, but as I said before when I first saw this report I really hoped that more video's and picture's would follow, I'm going to do some digging to see if there is anything new about this sighting.

I also spotted one of these strange orange objects in the sky on Saturday July 25th in Felixstowe, Suffolk at 10PM. A long way from Scotland but just 1 hour earlier than the Scottish sightings. I was driving, so I couldn't determine how fast it was travelling. It was heading in an easterly direction.

Unfortunately I think it's lanterns.

The movement & the flickering seem to fit with that.

Ok lets say the video is lanterns, That would mean everyone was fooled by them including Nick Pope, I think there's more to this than lanterns simply because there were many sightings.
