Thanks Sherrie that was a refreshing interview. Refreshing for me in that Gerald Celente echoes many of my own thoughts on these issues. Not that I need my opinions seconded but it’s always encouraging to know you’re not alone.

I must admit to feeling a little cheated near the end of the interview. I understand there were time constraints. He touched on a third party candidate, he mentioned Ron Paul and his shortcomings and then he stated:

Which is why we need to go more towards a direct Democracy. Where people decide what they want.

How do we do this? You characterised Celente as a "brilliant man" and that might be. I expect more than catch phrases from brilliant men. There are a number of people out there promoting a third party or a new conservative based party or some flavor of libertarian. None of them have a complete vision of how to do this. These incomplete thoughts though tantalizing leave one feeling naked against this world socialist onslaught. As you stated:

If we stand up collectively, we CAN CHANGE the course we are headed on!

If we stand up without a plan we will play into the hands of the controllers and are sure to see that the detention camps exist. "Tea bagged", "toe tagged" and "enemy of the state" will be our descriptors.

The OP deserves every medal and title for outstanding performance ATS is able to issue.

Mr. Celente is a giant in a world where you cannot find the truth, Mr. Celente is the best. When i am down and out and depressed about all the lies everyone spoon feeds us, i pull up interviews given by Mr Celente and although mainly grim, the truth is there from this fine man.

Thank you Mr. Celente on behalf of myself and those seeking the truth in this world. You are King.

And yes, "They" can be defeated by us, if only we would. I sincerely hope you read all the wonderful replies and that you find the time to post here soon.

Thank you.

Im sure i just read the interview and he stated he does not believe that things are being run by a 'cabal' or elite's?

im sure he said it is too much of a big mess to be organised?

This is the world's best trend setter, and he just said that he doesnt believe that TPTB are running thing's thats a big blow to all the NWO believers out there huh?

The NWO and TPTB don't run things, they can't. Plain and simple they can't. Unless people let them. They would love for you to believe they run things outright, but they have to use manipulations and try to keep people ignorant for a reason.

What "they" do is exert influence and try to manipulate events into their favor. And no doubt they have been very successful at this in history. But the real power and control has always belonged to the people. Thus again why the people have to be manipulated.

Plus, alot of them actually and truly believe they are doing the right things. So in some cases, the elected officials themselves are deceived, manipulated and so forth just as the people are.

I have two points to address:

the term you used was 'Main Street Media'...
which others call MSM or even Feign Stream Media...

? What's with that ?
Main-Street is the term for 'close-to-the-population'...
not the Ivory Tower class of overpaid 'Faces' that beguile us with
what they call NEWS...i.e. info-tainment

point two:

... I have not seen a network talk about legislation up for votes, which can have a direct impact on our lives, except the few controversial legislations of the FISA, TARP, and Stimulus bills, yet other equally important legislation is not brought to the American public's awareness.
[...]

Has anyone been remotely aware that the government passed legislation that in 2012 the ~incandescent light~ will no longer be used in the USA...

talk about life altering legislation...several big mega-corps will need o retool to produce LED bulbs, or continue the declining sales of the CFL
(compact fluorescent lights -that have minute ammounts of mercury in them)
the compact fluorescents are now around $2.50 ea.
the LED bundle of bulbs cost around $50. ea
whereas a 40 wt light-bulb still costs around 4 bits ( .40 cents)

with the jobless ranks growing and wage deflation/ asset deflation underway...no body can afford personal lighting in our 2012 future,
unless your a politician or MBA /financial specialist

thanks, i'll go back and re-read the parts i skipped over...

this is gonna be the 60s all over again i think, except on a MUCH larger scale...

because now there's no going back - they didn't have it as bad back then as we do today, although some would argue well over that point...

the time is NOW to say NO, to any and everyone that suppresses your conscience for the worse! ...our right to truly live free is greater than our right to liberty "provided" by the state!

I'd have to think that "main street media" is PRECISELY the term to use. That is where the average "man in the street" gets his news from, and why these elites types are finding it so easy to manipulate and maintain control, which I believe concerned a large part of the interview.

"main street" differentiates THAT media from "alternate" news sources.

As a side note, "two bits" is 25 cents. The term comes from the habit of dividing Spanish gold coins (specifically the "piece of eight" coin of the pirate mythos) into 8 bits each for smaller purchases during colonial days. Hence "2 bits" was 2/8 of the coin, =1/4, equated nowadays with 1/4 dollar, or 25 cents.

Excellent point.

The only thing it takes to get rid of ANY person is a bullet. Now, I am not saying to go kill anyone or cause harm at the moment...but if times were bad enough from an oppressed leader, well, what I just said would hold much more merit.

I really liked your reportorial tone, (hard to describe, but) sincere, and almost hopeful or inspirational in spite of the subject matter.
You brought out good information, I was previously unaware that Celente thought (like I do) that it's not so much a brilliant illuminati council as a bunch of dummies lurching around in the out-of-control room.
I would have liked him to have clarified more what he meant about a coming Black Plague (i.e. how is his prediction different from how psychics predict earthquakes in the vague future, when there are always earthquakes) but obviously there was a lot of material to cover in the interview.

Seriously, you should be proud of this piece of work.

This is very informative thread, and kind of goes along with what I've thought before the ones in control don't even know them selves what their doing. The comparision to high school I also agree with very much, peoople with big heads talking out of rear and not clue as to what the real deal is.
The question I have is how to say NO, with out getting your head busted for being out of line, I tried writing congress, e-mail, signing petitions, I can't see anything but this is all disreguarded.
Unless a large enough group comes together to show their might, it's all going to be biz as usual, till the bottom falls out.
Ron Paul talks and talks but who is paying attention, they just sluff-off any thing he says any how.
I know some progress is being made, but it's all to little to late, once they install Martial Law, it will be sit down and shut up.

Just a reference to the legislation that banned incandescent bulbs...
I wasn't aware...I am sure others aren't also...so I wanted to document it here.

This was a result of the Clean Energy Act (H.R. 6) passed on December 19, 2007 and signed into law by Bush. 100 watt bulbs are supposed to be phased out by 2010 and ending with the 40 watt bulb in 2014

Why no audio? I offered to provide a conference bridge and got the following reply. Done with this site. I hate hypocrisy and censorship. How can I trust anything here? Just like MSM.

Bye all.

We have the technology we need, including a corporate conference system.

For phone interviews, we require our press corps correspondents to record and archive the actual interview. After that, a written piece is produced... just like any other written-media news organization.

You mean the ones that are losing money and going out of business?

Sometimes it is nice to say "thanks but no thanks" when someone offers to help.

I call BS. There is absolutely no reason to not host the audio then. Why would a written piece be the only thing provided? Pure BS. I doubt the interview even happened.

Please delete my account as I have nothing to offer to a place that falsely claims to "Deny Ignorance" but is run ignorantly.

Good luck!

Amazing interview, very straight forward and the questions asked couldn't have been more relevant!

One thing I'm wondering about is how we can have a candidate run as a "Progressive Libertarian" under the current system, and have them prevail as our next leader?

It's completely obvious that this whole thing is coming to a crescendo, and surely we will see something in our lifetime that will change the system, hopefully. We just have to see what avenue this change will be coming from. As stated, the people have voiced their opposition for such unpopular bills, and yet they still manage to pass. It is outrageous!

Once again, thank you for the read. Very informing!

I don't know who is running things myself, but I know to World Food Reserves are at a 50 year low, and and is said we are set for perfect storm.
It would seem to me with all the Brains running things in 2009 this would be a priority to increas food production.
It' all about money pay some one not to plant crops just to keep prices high, so much for Capitalizm in that respect. Plus look what happened to all the small farmers, it's all big money now.

The World Bank is great also, giving loans to those countries in need, then telling them what they can and can't produce for export, this is price control and the money grabbers are just grabbing more money.

Want till they send in the Russian and Geman Gestapo, to inforce Martial law in US they say our own National Guard will be wearing NATO helmets

The interview did happen, exactly as transcribed. I've heard the audio myself, and know it for fact. I don't make the decisions, and it's not mine to release, so I won't.

However, I pledge on my honor that my statement is true. Now whether you will accept that I even HAVE any honor is another matter entirely, and is solely at your own discretion.

I would look at the people who set up the systems that end up disastrous for the regular man. Those who set up the Federal Reserve, dismantled the Glass-Steagall Act, backed politicians via their control of the media, all of these people knew what would happen. They can not control the minutiae of every day reality, but they can heavily influence the overall outcome and endgame. And all those people at the lower levels who become compartmentalized become ensnared in the system, and actually believe the lies that are told to them. All we have to do is deprogram them and show them the truth. This means going to our local city councils and speaking directly, if possible, with our representatives.

This is why what Mr. Celente said is so important. Although our current systems, as they are, will ultimately destroy us, the people who set them up are weak and feeble when confronted. All we need to do is become active, both politically and intellectually.

Thank you for the interview by the way, I enjoyed reading it! It has reinvigorated me to keep fighting to win the minds of the people.

I enjoyed this post but I am left with one single tiny question.

Doesnt anyone see what is being framed in as a replacement for the oil that the "elite"are going to use to manipulate humanity with for the next several hundred years????

Its food my friends and its obvious to me,the only other options are water and air.

Monsanto, remember the name, they started it and they are the powerhouse right now.

What the hell, seeds that dont grow you more viable seeds!!!

Just like a gas tank you cant fill up yourself,eh?

They couldnt stop free energy because of the internet and that screwed two hundred years of planning and manipulating using petroleum and gas up,AND NOW THEY ARE MAKING A PLAY FOR OUR FOOD .

Please, lets see some replies to this and generate some interest.

The Gold was an easy one ,my twelve year old nephew informed me about the Gold scam after he learned it in school,I watched several million dollars walk right by me because I believe it to be wrong to participate more than I have to in this corrupt situation.

We all werent taken by surprise, hence the food comment .

Consider yourselves to have been warned, buy seeds now and make sure they are heritage seeds that will allow you to keep planting year after year.

Instead of buying 5000 in savings bonds why not buy 500 dollars worth of hermeticly sealed seeds and put them away for your kids, you may be surprised how they kick golds ass in increase of value in the next 50yrs.

Sorry to say but they already going after the water , it didn't take them long to figure that one out also.
They are buying up municple water and what ever else they can to control it.
In one country trying to think of name Started with B, any how they sold the municlpe water to private company, they then rasied the price and the people rioted in the streets. They then squashed that deal and returned things back the way they were.

Might of been Bolivia, would have to check to be certain.

Great interview, Sherrie, well done

I've swung between believing and not believing in an NWO over the years, but at the end of the day, common sense would suggest to me that it is all too big to be so controlled. Certainly l believe it is being taken full advantage of by greedy and power-hungry individuals. I wonder if our world wouldn't benefit from a one-world government, currency, language, etc. The only way we will truly unify as a planet, IMHO, is if we are faced with intelligent life from other planets. Sadly, I think that we will annihilate ourselves long before that will ever happen.
