Strange creature photographed in Qatar

Just read an article on the website of a Dutch newspaper about a woman who took a picture of some wierd creature near a parking lot in Qatar.

The article claims there where several eyewitnesses..

I'm no expert on pictures but to me it looks like a small toy or something laying there. Creepy little bugger though I wouldn't want my kids playing with something like that

So the report (and I'm guessing picture) is based on a statement.

This is NOT a picture that somebody took?

That looks sooo fake and just silly.
