Drunk Chicken

Serves 4.
1 whole chicken
12 oz can of beer
Salt, black pepper, red pepper and garlic to taste

Mix the seasons and garlic together and rub the chicken down.

Open the can of beer and put it in on the grill. Then place the chicken so that it is “sitting” on top of the can. It is probably a good idea to place a pan beneath the chicken to catch the juices. If you would like to create some gravy from the juices then just add flour to the cooked juices until they reach the desired consistency.

Use a toothpick to pin the neck shut to keep the juices in while it is cooking.

Cook for approximately 1 hour at 350

Yep. I use the beercan method all the time, even in the oven.
