Proposal at U.N. to criminalize 'defamation of Islam'

Geneva, March 11, 2009 — A new U.N. resolution circulated today by Islamic states would define any questioning of Islamic dogma as a human rights violation, intimidate dissenting voices, and encourage the forced imposition of Sharia law.

ok, I don't have a problem with this because it specifcly singles out "Islamic dogma".

I would have a problem with this if it specified Christian, Wiccan, Aethiest or any specific "dogma" whatsoever.

The one question (rhetorical) I do have is why haven't I heard anything about this in MSM? I mean, if in some places in the U.S., if anyone is forced to say the Pledge of Allegiance or anything resembling a prayer at school or government sponsored event, you here about it the same day if not within hours.

It is just sad to me that "live and let live" can't be everyone's belief. Sad that there are always those that want to tell you what you can't say or do regardless of your place on this earth.
