This isn't really surprising. Nobody is safe in this, aside from the wealthiest 1%.

I just wonder what an economic collapse in China will mean to the rest of the world? How will China react? They really do have the power to react in any number of ways. Most of which would probably spell more trouble for the rest of the world.

Sadly, things look like they are going to continue to get worse before they get better... if they get better. Anyone can feel free to mention when they think it will get better.

These are scary times, I know most of us feel as though we are just waiting for the really hard times to hit us, it is a feeling of dread that just won't pass, each day the news around the world indicates a rapidly declining economic outlook, with a violent following. I wish the mega rich folks of the world would get a heart and save everyone from impending disaster, but, they never will, that is just dreaming, but imagine if Oprah gave all her money, minus what she needs to live on as she makes more money, to a single state.

That is an interesting statement. Deep down, I believe that the "Mega Rich of the world" actually generated this crisis in the first place and intend on "saving everyone" when the time is right. The problem is that the "saving" that they have in mind will only truly benefit them.

I think the hard times will pass when the little people of the world decide they dont want to be worked like slaves and indebted for generations because of their incompetent leaders.

When and if we collectively decide that their little ownership game is ridiculous and doesnt serve us, things will start to improve.

Until then, we are going to have the same pattern repeat, much like we have for as long as some humans have been farming others. How many times do we have to see an enormous aggragation of money, power, and resources into the hands of the sociopathic? How many times do we need to watch this same type of person then collapse the whole system because of their lack of restraint and common sense?

Why do we over and over again keep falling for the same stupid game?

When we are tired of that, the hard times will pass.

Good article, Friend-O . . .Star!

Wish I could say better, but lots of countries are in this, or near to it. Ours
will be sooo much funkier, what with politicians and wealthy 1%ers living in a dream world, don't worry, reality will hit them, too!

My solution- superior state of mind! And humor when possible! And of course, don't get caught up in the sh#@...

. . .Did you hear about the new breed of dog China started, in an effort to improve its image as a police state? Part Pit-Bull, and part Collie . . .

First it mauls ya half to death, , but then goes for help!!!

I don't think this will dethrone the communist party from power, they have very strong grip on china.

Uuuh huh,

even if China does have a rough spot, they will still own the US.

Funny how things turn out.

Capitalism being saved in the end by communism.

McCarthy must be turnin' in his grave.

This is all panning out to the design of those in real power - the mega rich. But money is not want they want, they have tones of that - POWER is what it is all about. So you see, make the people suffer until they beg us to help them...then we can do what we want.

Let's start with limiting how many children you can have, let's kill the minimum wage, let's build labour camps, let's strip more and more civil rights - let's instil marshal law...

Yes friends, they want you to riot (gives them marshal law), they want you to beg (let's them enslave you), they want you to reach out for their help - it empowers them.

Do not get sucked in!!! DO NOT pay back credit cards - DO NOT riot - DO NOT beg.

Instead, get together with your neighbours and plant a community vegetable garden, keep some chickens, turn swimming pools into fish (for eating) tanks.

All we really need is those things that sustain us, and this we can achieve. You don't need their junk. 100 inch LCD HDTV ain't gonna feed the kids, but a 6ft x 12ft vegetable garden will!

Don't give up - empower yourself and take back responsibility for your own lives!!!

I'm gonna agree with Solomons that china is actually a capitalist country and no longer a communist country at all. China is very poor as a communist country. The china that we see today is actually the china that opens herself to capitalism not the old communist china. The old one has died.

But they're still governed by one faction, the so called the communist party of china, which is a fascist party.

I agree too. It isnt a communist country anymore. Their leaders have the best of both worlds. The control and lack of democratic process of communism, and the endless ability to steal the countries wealth from its people that you get in a capitalist form!

Wont be long til all the other governments want one too.

The chinese elites sure are a bunch of smart fascists aren't they? But they're only good at the local level.

In the global arena the americans are still the pros. And I have this sneaky feeling that they want a big piece of china's wealth, a REALLY big piece.

I just hope the chinese people will have a better life under the new management somehow.

Oh dear, it is you and I my friend that will be under new management. China is the proving ground, the place where the NWO try out their new social control experiments.

So once they take control, Americans will be introduced to the brutal socialist regime, complete with Gulags (FEMA camps), Gestapo and regional dictators. It's feudalism all over again.

The Chinese wont notice anything, Americans and Europeans on the other hand...

How is that a problem? Isn't that simply capitalism?

What's the alternative? Socialism? Communism?

Find the person, who first used the words, released the words, made the name.
"Global Financial Crisis".
And you may find the Engineer.
Who made up this name to describe the current situation?
There must be a way to trace the first usage of it as an official name for it?

China doesn't like civil disobedience, so they are not going to be happy with who ever they think may have caused this problem.
I think I can hear the chinese gearing up to ask for their money back, possibly in gold.

Excellent point. After a lengthy period of tough times, no work, and scrimping and stealing to put food on the table, American workers will be willing to go back to work for a pittance. The fat cats will come to the rescue and the masses will be clambering for 3.25/hr jobs. Cheap labor will return to the good old U.S. and all Unions will be completely dissolved.
