Predictions for 2009

Someone posted a list of predictions for 2009 by a woman called Nikki on a Guns N' Roses forum because she said Axl would either die or have a health problem. The full list of predictions had some blindinly obvious stuff listed but some you lot might find interesting. It's quite large so I'll post them in sections.

2009 Predictions

Last year Nikki predicted the wild fires in California in the Los Angeles area and the earthquake in Greece. She also predicted Britney Spears' health problems, the weird behavior and her comeback, the pregnancy of twins for Angelina Jolie, the divorce of Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie, the marriage of Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Winehouse's bad health problems and her awards, and the sex scandal in Washington regarding John Edwards. Nikki also predicted the Stock Market crash and the economy meltdown, the assassination of Benazir Butto, Ted Kennedy's health problems, and the passing of Suzanne Pleshette and the passing of Paul Newman. I hate to burst any bubbles but many of these visions are merely generalizations based on simple facts. Fun to read though.

My favorite comes from mens fashion.

I guess men will start to wear capes once again. Do you suppose LL Bean will stock those in Gore Tex? If so I'm in. Perhaps this may mean an increase in Super Heroes 2009 as well.

Please provide a source for your information please. Pretty vague predictions in my opinion.

I am always intrigued by predictions even though 99.8% of the time they are bunk. Guess that's why I'm on this site.

I hereby predict that at least a few of those predictions above will actually come true. I don't know which ones. But that's not what I'm predicting. Just that a few of them will come true.

Hey, a big cape can be converted to a tent with a pole, kinda helps if you may wind up homeless. I kinda missed the whole dandy-fop thing anyway, I'm over the whole tatto-piercing-trailer trash look anyway. Bring on dem big ole boys in spats and lavender perfume I say!

I can't believe anyone listens to Psychic Nikki, that woman's been debunked more times than global warming...

If you want to read someone who either is psychic or very well connected, look up Levi Tarot's site. He's not all there but he's got a very good hit record. He's not put his 2009 predictions up yet because a lot of US psychics plagiarized his site last winter but an awful lot of what he posted in December 2007 came true and he does not alter his log during the year so you can fact check him later. This guy has no comfort zone, be forewarned, he's got issues but it's worth the read.

Earthquakes happen in Alaska all the time they have had plenty recently in fact, not much of a prediction.

Danger around Obama is no surprise either he is a man placed in a high place and that alone means there are risks involved.

Worldwide computer virus, we see these every year every other year as well.

I am interested in the green flamingo and bear though. Would be interesting to see, I wonder why they would be green.

The stock market up and down, that did not take a lot of thought I would guess.

I must have been years ahead of the prediction for the wearing of black then. I wear black nearly all the time. I doubt though that is any real sort of prediction black has been popular for quite some time, after all it goes with everything.

Should this thread not be in the predictions though instead of current events?

Why dosent she give her predictions for january, that would narrow it down for us.

yeah some predictions are true...
there is someone here in the middle east, his name is Michael Hayek and there is another one and they said about terrorists attacks in USA and Europe (Eiffel Tower) and some other things and about earthquakes as well not in Americas but in Middle East too and Michael Hayek also mentioned about UFO(will be crashing) and some weird bodies(he didn't say if aliens or not) found inside them...

Well... All I can say is that at least one of them is false...

Global warming? Really!?!

A lot of them are far too general, and will likely happen due to probability.

Weather, earthquakes, terrorism, sex scandals... all of these are pretty vague and likely anyway.
There are always threats to presidents and royalty, but some of the more specific ones I might note down for future reference, just for my own curiosity.

The more bizarre/unlikely ones would be interesting to keep an eye on. The green Flamingo one specifically interesting.

The sad thing is that she probably has a lot of followers that believe in her ability to predict. Just one big sham.

As for that prediction I sure hope not! I LOVE the ET and if I dont get to see it before I die cause some idiot destroys it I will never feel complete. It's something I have to see for some really odd life long obsessed reason I am unsure of.
The other predictions well anyone can generalize things like this and say it will happen.

Oh as for the dare devil scaling the Eiffel Tower that will be me if someone tries to destroy it. I will scale it to destroy them : )
