The OP provied some evidence as to why they thought Obama was elected.

The OP was looking for responses as to why everyone else thought he was elected.

That is the topic, not policies.

That said, we are all still waiting to see your proof of your claims from a non biased and legitimate source.

Obama is not hitler!!! Nor is he a socialist, communist, anti-christ, or anything else like that. Obama is the Next President and he needs not only democrats help to fix the country he needs the republicans help too!

He himself said that even the plan to fix america comes from a republican he will use it, because its not about democrat or republican or liberl or conservative, it is about Fixing the country.

The thread topic is How Obama Got Elected .

Several people have provided videos showing that Obama voters were uninformed. Uneducated as far as what the policies of the person the voted for really were. Some even thought Sarah Palin was his running mate.

I use you an an example. I offer you a chance to defend a small portion of his policies, i.e., his economic policies.

I contend that you either are unfamiliar with his policies, or are in agreement with them.

That is my challenge to you.

For further clarification, I believe that a large portion of blacks voted for Obama simply because of his race. I would extend this to include some non-blacks.

Others voted for him for some nebulous "Change" that they cannot explain. They cannot even explain his policies and positions. So why did they vote for him?

Some of it was a vote against Bush because of the current economy, which once again shows their ignorance. They are unaware of the Democrats role in the meltdown. Hell, some of them didn't even know who Pelosi, Reid, or Frank was.

Most of them could not even summarize the reasons for the current economic mess.

Obama was in the right place at the right time. Simple as that. The fact that he had the backing of Soros and the MSM didn't hurt, either.

You know spectre, I remember a while back at my job, while I was taking my break, I had mentioned to one of my co-workers (of whom I knew she was an Obama supporter) that one of the reasons amongst many, that I would never vote for the guy, was that he had flip flopped so many times on important issues like the Iraq war, to me it showed that he didn't have any character or conviction. The co-worker simply stared with a blank face and asked "wait, he changed his stance on the war?"

I couldn't honestly believe it. The sheer and willful ignorance of some people. Supporting a candidate of which they knew little or nothing about, and no understanding the importance of the decisions they were making. Voting for a president is not like going to buy a new dress or new shoes or a new video game, yet, when talkign to a lot of Obama supporters, they made it sound that way. It was pathetic.

One person I know in particular, said that their excuse was "we simply can't have another rich white guy in office" I simply thought WTF???? Like Obama is a shinning example of living in middle or lower class? Talk about self-delusion!

I am going to say this as nice as possible.

All of the things that make up your challenge have already been covered by me and others through out the thread. feel free to reread the thread.

Reposting those answers would only serve to derail the thread.

However,if you were to provide evidence as to how all obama voters are some how stupid or uneducated, I feel that would be on topic.

It would help this thread stay on topic, if you just get that proof up. Proof from a legit and non biased source that backs up your claim.

Lets both agree, no more off topic posts, lets both agree to stick with what the thread is about. Posting that proof would be a great way for you to stay on topic.

I and the rest of the thread will be waiting for that proof.

Untill that proof is up, I need a break. I will be watching for the proof.

I was using that as a very general way to sum up what you DID say. Can I assume that you will not/cannot provide the proof to back up your claims? For the sake of being specific, here is what you did say.

I never said all Obama voters were uneducated. But the percentage that won the election for him were, to a very large part.

The people that truly understand the issues voted against Obama. That's why they lost. There are too few people in the US who are truly "educated".

well i wasn't gonna do it but i can't hold back another reason for the win. after talking to the supporters of obama,i have to believe that this has some merit. i also have to give redhatty credit for finding this site.

another thing,please don't reply or refute it unless you read the entire thing.

maybe the real reason

now realize that the way he used his hands changed after the election. but don't take my word for it ...look up the videos and see for yourself, and remember his addiction to the teleprompter...

Ok you consider it deflecting, The mods dont. This is how it really is when it comes to Bill Ayers. He Was not convicted. I never said anything about him being a fugitive. Just that he was never convicted.Bill ayers being a fugitive or when he was pardoned is irrelevent. Because as it says on the fact checker website

"Senator Obama strongly condemns the violent actions of the Weathermen group, as he does all acts of violence. But he was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost forty years ago is ridiculous."

That is why I point out that he was never convicted. Because trying to associate Obama with terrorism because he knows Bill Ayers is ludacris. No further explanation is needed on my part.
