I'm feeling a little distressed. Maybe Kenya is too?

Upside down flag = distress.

But who knows if they realize that. *shrug*

You have to love it.

That is the White House in the background.
You think the kids even know what that flag is?

they dont even know who che really was and it was fashionable some years ago to wear shirts with his face on them.

they dont have a clue what the USSR flag is and for good reason, communism fell when they were still crapping in their pampers.

Oh no and god forbid another flag be seen in the U.S other than the blood-stained stars and stripes. What is the American obsession with their flag? I am English and it only ever comes out for sporting events when we are supporting our country.

That flag has bought you nothing but trouble and death(of the working people in your countless wars)....

Actually I think that flag being there is very funny....

But not as funny as some of the people posting on this thread.

OMG!!!!!!

A flag!!!

Run to your bunkers, shoot your dog, stock up on big macs.... The REDS are coming!!!

If this was Britain, we'd take it with a smile and a nod to irony, in America there would no doubt be blood on the streets.

RUN THE REDS ARE COMING!!!

Actually the reds are coming. I fullyexpect Putin and Obama to join together to rid the world of the evil that controls it.

Obama's words from his acceptance speech:

Those who wish to destroy us, will be defeated.

Uhhh... I saw the "Horns" hand before I noticed the Russian Flag.

Wow.

I should be ashamed of myself.

ha same here.
i figured that the flag was being held by a bitter McCain supporter.

McCain supporter? In a group of college kids? Yah, I seriously doubt that.

It's more likely those kids have no idea what that flag represented, what the "Iron Curtain" was or even what country it comes from. But they sure as heck know that Obama is worth their vote! Because Comedy Central told 'em so!!!

What is wrong with this picture. This is Kenya celebrating our president..

Imagine that. Other Nations celebrating the fact Bush won't be President anymore...

Quite literally in fact. I voted for Steven Colbert.

I think you missed the point there. I don't care that they were celebrating. I do care that they are holding our flag upside down, or did you not find that disrespectful?

It doesn't make me mad at them.

To me, an upside down flag is just utter disrespect... People can say it means "distress" all they want. To me, and most Americans, it is just disrespect. Plain and simple.

Not only is it "ironic," it's disturbing to a TRUE American. However, you wouldn't know anything about that. Would you? Yeah, I didn't figure you would. Thank ya.

Disturbing to a TRUE American?

I find many things much more distrubing that are done by our own Government. This is a trivial matter in comparison. I think it's better for me as an American to not focus on this, but rather our own Government
