AUSTRALIA will join China in implementing mandatory censoring of the internet under plans put forward by the Federal Government.

The revelations emerge as US tech giants Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, and a coalition of human rights and other groups unveiled a code of conduct aimed at safeguarding online freedom of speech and privacy.

To all of the Aussies out there on ATS, I personally will miss you.
I love your sense of humor,wit, and charm. Since becoming a member of ATS I have developed a fond affection for Aussies.
If there were a Country/continent I would have rather lived in than Amerika, It would have been Austrailia......Untill now.

I for one will truely miss you but just know that we (Nazi Amerika) won't be far behind.

Maybe we can email some of you some ATS articles or start a file sharing network for ATS threads, since it appears file sharing networks will be immune to this "crackdown".
