Iran would prefer Barack Obama to be elected as the next US president, Ali Larijani, the speaker of Iran's parliament, has said.

Of course they would,
Any nation would.
Because Obama, unlike Mccain 'bush 2.0' appears to be someone who wants to talk, and debate.. and come to resolutions with state leaders.
Isnt that what a leaders meant to do?

Talk to people and resolve issues through diplomacy and good merrit?

Tell me, have we 'tried' this with Iran in the last 8rs?
Having a face to face conversation, in front of the camera trying to work through our problems?

As much as the gun totting, red neck Americans drool for more bombing runs and further blood shed.. believe it or not, not everyone follows your sick mentality.

And just because you live in the lands of Persia, doesnt mean your some stupid war hungry monster either.

Obama understands this, where as Mccain seemingly believes war is the answer.

Im pretty sure if your a small country you'd want to talk an issue through, instead of dig up relatives from a rubble strewn house!

You might be on to something there. One of Obama's biggest endorsement donors to his election campaign is General Electric. Now if you remember General Electric has come under a lot of heat lately for continuing to do business with Iran. All through the Iraq war. They are a big exporter to Iran and Syria. GE ensuring their shareholder's value while endangering troops and the stability of the area. Obama will insure GE's profits in Iran.

So lets elect somebody that our enemies want elected that is a smart move.

We don't have a very good relationship with Iran, after over throwing their government in 1953 and putting into power a brutal dictator, I don't think they like us very much.

Then on top of it all the comments from Iran haven't been very positive, such as they are going to love watching the collapse of the American Empire and all kinds of off colored comments like that.

I'm not pro-war, or pro pre-emptive strike, but you can't negotiate with people when they have come out openly and they hope for your failure.

Then Biden's gaffe of an International crisis within 6 months of Obama getting elected, doesn't give me much faith with Obama.

I don't know what is wrong with you people that look at this as a positive thing. We do need to talk to Iran, but at the secretary of state level first to negotiate pre-conditions for a presidential level meeting.

Imagine what the fall out with Israel will be if Obama just goes over and meets with Iran no pre-conditions. I don't know what they will be, but there is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes that we don't know about.

Looking at an endorsement for from one of our enemies as a positive thing leaves me baffled.

Also GE owns NBC, which means they also own shares in their affiliates such as MSNBC, who are completely in the tank for Obama. You decide.

Your right,
Lets continue this harsh attitude toward Iran, to ensure theres no fallout with Israel. After all, Israel have been so ready to help us!

Iran is not an enemy, what exactly are they doing?
Just because they dont bow to the United States does not make them an enemy.

At the same time as Iran spouting the failure of America, arent we the west doing the same thing back by threatening World War 3?
Or by telling Iran military action is possible if they dont do as we say?

talk to these people for cyring out loud.
Saddam wanted to talk, just imagine where we'd be now if Bush and Co sat down with Saddam?
If our WMD claim was genuine, talking with him would of PROVED no WMD's existed.
Right now the army bosy could be sitting with their families, the economy might be positive and rising, and America's standing might be back as superior..

Instead we didnt talk, and look where we are.

Why do people see talking as such a bad move?

You must have missed the part in my post where I said talk to them at a secretary of state level.

The fact is talks don't always work, Israel is threatening to bomb Iran, we haven't taken that option off the table, but pretty much all of our generals are in agreement that we can't afford or handle war with Iran so the only way that war with Iran is going to start is with Israel in the lead and us having to go and back them up.

Also talk to Saddam like we did before he invaded Kuwait, those talks broke down and that is what he did. The fact is they are our enemy there is no way around that, the reason why that is - is because the powers that be have made it that way.

We have been talking to Iran just not directly, the UN has been talking with Iran, all those talks have broken down. Iran's case is that they are going to develop nuclear power and there is nothing that is going to stop them from doing so even if it means leading to war.

If they develop the bomb, who knows maybe they are maybe they aren't. My personal feeling is that if they wanted the bomb that badly they would buy one from Russia, maybe they have already done that.

Also how are the rest of our "allies" going to feel talking to Iran without pre-conditions. In the political world talking to countries that make comments like they have without pre-conditions is giving legitimacy to those comments.

Obama is weak and they know it, and that is a bad thing for America. As for the economy that was going down anyway you look at it, they have been inflating bubble after bubble to keep us out of a recession and now it has caught up to us.

In economics you have boom and bust cycles that is just the way it works. Borrowing from China to finance this war sure didn't help and the factors and arguments for invading Iraq may have been lies, but let me clue you into the other side of the argument.

What if we didn't invade Iraq and Saddam decided to start shooting scuds at our troops on the ground in Afghanistan and killing them with chemical weapons. Then what would have happend? The dems as just as guilty with the whole Iraq has weapons of mass destruction fiasco than anybody else.

Do I feel that invading Iraq was right? No I don't, but our government makes decisions based off of the intel they get and the president makes decisions based off of what his advisers tell him.

So you have to look at the persons judgment and lets not even go there with Obama's judgment because I'm sure there are plenty of threads that already exist about that subject.

The fact is Iran is dead set on developing nuclear power for peaceful purposes, and it is no secret that attacking them will kick off WWIII. The question is are they developing a bomb or not, they say no but there is evidence contrary to the claim. You cannot talk to people that already have their minds made up on something that they are going to do.

Its getting ridiculous...

First...

Lets say Obama is from Kenya, that'l' rattle em all up... Whoops, Barack actually has something called a birth certificate, there goes that idea. Well WE shall still insinuate it for those ignorant enough to not do their research and keep it off Fox Noise.

Then lets say hes a Muslim. Cause ya know, all Muslims are bad right. Didnt you know that? Yep, cause 19 crazy people who took the Muslim faith and used it to kill 3,000 civilians thus makes all Muslims dangerous. Duh.
Wait? He's not Muslim? Oh yea, we attacked him for attending Rev. Jeremiah Wright all those years. and that wasn't a Muslim church. Oops, well we can cover our tracks and say Obama believes in everything Wright does. Again, lets pander to those not willing to do the research.

Next, we insinuate hes a socialist. Yea, that'll work. I mean, hell, he is a democrat after all. We've successfully been proving they are socialists one by one. Why not attack the top democrat of the land. Wait, whoops, one of MCCain's plans calls for a bigger government to but back homes from owners who got in over their head. One of the biggest socialist ideas t o come from a repub in a while. Not to mention the fact that Bush has tripled the size of the Us Gov in his 8 years. Damn. Well, this argument should still work because we can just ignore the two facts above and still say, democrat equals a Red Commie.

Of course we could always say Obama will try ant take away everyone's guns. Yea, that'll work. It will appeal to the gun owners of the world. WE get NRA to spray some not so good half truths and stir enough FEAR and people will have no choice but to for republican. Because, they of course have been the only ones to defend the 2nd ammendment... Whoops... See Kennedy vote...... Well ,thats ok, as long as the NRA backs this tactic, we will win.

Hmm, if those all dont work, we of course have this. Obama pals around with terrorists. Now we gotta word this one correctly. Cause, after all, McCain has dinner functions with Obama, shares a stage with Obama, and calls Obama a good man. If he were a real terrorist sympathizer, we'd have to call for his execution. Heck, Saddam was called a terrorist sympathizer, and we got rid of that guy. Hmm, toughy there. Oh I know!!! Let the VP nom do all the hatchet jobs, this way McCain wont look like the mean guy. After all , we have no proof but the fact that he was 8 and knew someone who was involved in domestic affairs. This one might work boys. Lets go with it, true or not. Fear will be instilled on this one for sure.

And if all else fails.... Well our enemies want him elected. Yea, that rial em up. Of course... Her Karl, how come we didn't think about this one earlier man??? Perfect. Tell the people Iran wants Obama and they'll never want to elect him. After all, we can now say Obama is friends with Iran, who'd want to elect him now???

Perfect...... Excellent.
Hm, Im gonna turn this post into a topic now.

Yep. Iran does indeed support Obama, and it has nothing to do with his wanting to talk. In fact Hamas top official Ahmed Yousef supports Obama. Hatem El-Hady - fundraiser for terrorists organizations supports Obama, and is listed as friends of Michelle Obama by both Michelle and Hatem.

Notorious extremest Malik Zulu Shabazz supports Obama and described Obama as a man with "a Muslim background and a man of color."

Add documented terrorists William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn as supporters of Obama for years, as is Mike Klonsky - former SDS member and chairman 1979-1981 of the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist).

Obama supporter Carl Davidson fits right in as he was former vice-president of SDS

Then there's FARC and Castro. Daniel Ortega whose openly hoping Obama will lead a revolution here in America. Then my South American favorite Hugo Chavez who suppports Obama, and openly fears McCain.

hen you have another fine person in Jodie Evans of Code Pink who gave Iraqi terrorists families $600,000.

Then Obama is supported by the Arab American Action Network who mourns the establishment of Israel and supports terrorists activities of the Palestinians.

Don't leave out Obama supporter Rashid Khalidi who Obama lavished praise on. Another national leader publicly supports Obama who he considers a man of Muslim faith (once a Muslim, always a Muslim) Moammar Quaddafi.

South Korean President Kim Jong IL supports Obama, and had his secretary give a public statement to that effect. Then there's Jamal al Barzinji - a supporter of Obama who is a long-term business associate of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And finally as I'm getting tired of typing is Louis Farrakhan. There are many more, but if you don't see a troubling pattern by now . . .
