Taken has disappointed here in England and I have
to agree it is disappointing. This is a serious subject
and Spielberg has reduced its` impact by allowing
this babbling kid to do all the narration. In addition
there is no suspense and my two young daughters
weren`t at all scared. Its` too much like ET.

However there appears to have been an increase
in media coverage here in the UK to do with all things
UFO. I think we will witness a great sea change in
the public`s attitude towards this phenomena over
the next 10 years.

here in "the states" as well, but it was mostly overlooked, as we had other issues in the news that overshadowed it. A lot of documentaries were on the various educational channels though...

forgot to mention my actual opinion on the show.

I thought it was pretty good, just a bit slow in parts...but that could be because I saw it in 2 5 hour blocks (or something like that), hehe...
