UFO sighting in western mass

Last night as i was driving through Chicopee i saw 3-4 red lights in a row. As i came down the brigde it "disappeard". When i turned the corner going towards Holoyoke i saw it again. Note i was about 2 miles from a Reserve Air Force Base. Any ideas or if anyone else saw the aircraft??

Yes. Since you were close to an AFB the most logical conclusion is it was plane(s) or helicoptor(s).

What exactly did you find unusual about the lights other than their disappearing act? Could their disappearance could have been explained by your orientation or blockage from clouds or tall structures?

The lights were in a striaght line. It was a dull red. orientation could have been it. I can tell you it wasn't a C-5 flying out of Westover.
