LHC connected to Russian Doomsday Cult

The Russian Cult story is very interesting when it comes to time. According to this article

The doomsday sect is a splinter group from the Russian Orthodox Church and its adherents believe that the world will end in May.

Ironically, this is about the time when the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland is supposed to start up, sometime between now and August.

Concerns have been raised that performing collisions at previously unexplored energies might unleash new and disastrous phenomena. These include the production of micro black holes,

and strangelets, potentially resulting in a doomsday scenario.

Is there a possible connection here? What if the cult leader, Pyotr Kuznetsov is right?
