Well I think they have to notify 24 hours ahead of time. I could be wrong it's been a few years. Probably early Thursday but I can't check the pass schedule yet.

i wonder if any of it will be visible to the eye

atleast the explosion part

im in seattle and have got a good set of binocs, but not sure if those'd be powerful enough for west of hawaii

allthough an explosion in the upper atmosphere might be visible

anyone know?
