Is this as disturbing to anybody else as it is to me? I think the guy reading it is even a little startled. Seems like he is talking about some type of threat not of this world.

Does it have any real significance?

It is a short video from c-span. btw

sorry if this has already been discussed

..weird man

here is the good link:

This video is not actually real. It was a skit done on Colbert's show on Comedy Central.

It's from "The Onion" (Onion-Span)

Just a joke video but seem not far from the truth.

I was laughing so hard when I saw this. I couldn't believe how funny this is. Especially the part where it says "Flesh eating 'classified' "

It was pretty convincing and i actually thought if was real (keep in mind we dont have the onion whatever is in Aus)

So for international viewiers getting the crap scared out of them is a possibility.

Other than that the part that made me question the validity of it was when he said basically "they would only take emergency action after 80 percent of the population was in trouble" I thought nah this cant be right.

Either that or the US military has an appauling response time lol

Did you not see how quick Katrina went down? Apalling response time is an understatement.

If you think that is bad, you should call 911 from a housing project. Then get out your calendar and report back what THAT response time was.

I love Colbert. He is the single most genius pundit, and all the others should be shaking.
