God in 5 words

I believe the following 5 words sum up God. (You gotta type more than 5 words to post.)


Known, base, providence, open, unknown.


How about you? What words do you think sum up God, the notion of God, etc.

Here are my five words for GOD:

LOVE
TRUTH
COMPASSION
WISDOM
FRIEND

Depends what God, but in regards to depth om's God it goes like this:

tyrant, jealous, vengfull, bloodthirsty and decitfull

Love
Wisdom
Creation
Revelation
Truth

God in five words......

I am alpha and omega

I'll offer a very honest response here.

For the most part, I do not practice any form of religion. If I consider myself anything, it would probably be an agnostic. Day to day, I do not turn to my faith for strength. But when the time comes, I know that I'll find solace in a greater being. Hypocritical? Yeah, I agree. Selfish? Tremendously.

So today, if I were to sum up "God" in five words, it would be...

"A Form Of Social Control"

However, when the time comes that I need to find inner strength, there are far greater words to describe.

"Our Inner Strength to Persevere"

I hope I don't offend anyone by my thoughts, but it's no secret that religion is a concept that we all have varying opinions. I have no problem with people believing in something I do not, so others should not fault me for not sharing that opinion.

When I think of Religion, I think of something that should bring out the best in all of us. But, it tends to bring out the worst in people, which is probably why I don't practice on a regular basis.

The creator of our souls

this sums everything up.

Everything good we find in ourselves and others is from God.

Justice, compassion, goodness ect..

Its from God, thus humility from those who attribute it to themselves.

God would not make someone better than him, goodness comes from him.

No, I don't have any God's.

Those five words are how I precieve The God of the Bible. Why should I not be allowed to express my self?

However, in your initial post, you did NOT say Bible GOD; you specifically said:
