MOSCOW - A small Russian city just got a really big addition: its resident has delivered her 12th baby at 17.05 pounds — the biggest on the nation's record.

This is about ten pounds over the average! The nurse said everything went smoothly (yeah, right) and the baby is doing just fine.

Oh man no way would I want to deliver a kid that size! And I thought mine were big.
1st- 7lbs
2nd- 9lbs 10 oz
3rd 10lbs 10oz

All I can say to that is freakin OUCH
I'm petite but my son was born weighing a half ounce short of nine pounds.
Natural delivery..no drugs...NOT recommended.

The more kids you have, the easier it is to have more, and the bigger they get.

But 17 pounds! My second was just under 8 pounds when he was born, and the four months prior I was in so much pain from abdominal muscles being skewed that I could barely walk!

That woman ... wow. All I can say is, you go, girl.

Go get your tubes tied because the next one will probably go over 20 pounds. That would be like having a one year old.
