i read your rticle link...

the only mention of Turkey, was that the target site was close o the Syrian-Turkish border.

Two days ago, i posted a link in another thread that
'other' sources reported that the Turkish Military is the one
that alerted Israel to focus their satellite spy cameras
on that area...as there was suspicious activity & construction
taking place at the eventual target site.

see archives at; www.ec-an.eu...

~about the Turkish heads-up to Israel, & the presence N.Korean personnel, etc

Channel 4 News (UK) last night reported that the Israelis are carrying out military exercises on the border with Syria.

CNN International are reporting Israeli media as saying Israel is on high alert and are fearing the Syrians will strike Israel back in revenge.

Israel sounds like the kid who just deliberately smashed their neighbour's window, and is now sitting at home realising the consequences of it's vandalism.

Sitting there, sweating, expecting the neighbour to come a-knocking.

If Syria does come a knocking, Israel will realise that going around bombing countries has consequences.

I don't think Syria will though. Syria will be happy to let Israel sweat about it.

Syria does not want a war with Israel, but if Israel make a habit of attacking Syria, things might change.

Yes I remember that story, and it isn't a stretch to believe that Turkey played a key role in identifying the Syrian threat.

North Korea, Syria hold talks

SEOUL - North Korea and Syria held high-level talks today, state media said in Pyongyang, amid reports the communist state was secretly helping Damascus to develop a nuclear weapons facility.

The meeting took place in Pyongyang between Choe Tae-Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the North’s ruling Workers’ Party, and Saaeed Eleia Dawood, director of the organisational department of Syria’s Baath Arab Socialist Party, the official Korean Central News Agency said.
