But the point of a disinfo agent is *NOT* to get people to listen, it's to get people to stop taking something seriously. A good disinfo agent will
get people to think "Oh boy, there's those UFO nuts again".
And that generally doesn't stem from actual nuts, but the people who want everyone who questions the official story to seem like actual nuts.
then the trend begins. "people who believe that, are just crazy."
and the newer variants such as "people who believe that, are ruining it for the rest of us serious investigators." several of these "serious
investigators" are sporting avatars with aliens and ufos, but if you follow their posts, most of them don't believe any of it, or spend most of
their time, downgrading anyone that does. the end goal? divide and conquer.
it's like today's version of the Inquistion.
now, instead of saying you're obviously possessed by the devil and must be forthwith drowned in yon river or burnt at the stake, you're just crazy
and no one should listen to you, you're obviously an attention seeker with mental abberations, delusions and so on.
eh, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
