Mirthful Me's Predictions Thread... The Might Even Be Right...

I predict I'm going to bed in an hour or so, and it's nearly the 15th here and nothing is still going to happen. Except some dreaming and perhaps some snoring. Certainly some tooth grinding.

Yes, 9/14/2007 was a big goose egg for the doom and gloom crowd... The Mystic Monkey continues to bat 1.000. Who will take to task all those "gifted" people and their "special" abilities?

I will take solace in the comfort of "scoreboard" and leave the equivocation to the insolent masses.

I don't know if I'm the first one to notice this, but this thread's title is all caps. That's against ATS's terms and conditions.

Just goes to show you that mods can get away with anything on this site.

They are above the law.

I guess that makes wildcat MWNED!

I've made threads with all caps and ended with either a question mark or exclamation mark before.

And guess what? I got the "slap on the wrist" U2U because of that.

And Mirthful Me is among one of those mods that penalize you but don't give a reason.

And even when you ask for one

But too bad the U2U system here erases your U2U's after you obtain a certain amount. So I don't have that one to back me up.

There is a difference between a title with every word in it capitalized:

Like This Example Here, Which Is The Proper Way To Write A Heading Of Any Kind

and every letter of every word being capitalized:

LIKE THIS HERE WHICH IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING

I don't see MM's thread title being the shouting variety of all caps, which is where I think the confusion lies.

The first two or my four predictions were exact

I had a dream...

There will be at least three more dates that doom and gloom will be said to occur on before the end of 2007... Threads will be started... Hands will be wrung... Frivolous posting will be plentiful and all for naught... Nothing will happen.



On a side note, if anything does happen, it won't be predicted.
