Can anyone tell me about adopting newbies? I am sort of new, and I have yet to be adopted or to adopt...........

Read thoroughly. There are different opinions as to what exactly "adoption" means here on ATS/BTS.

My take on it is that a person who has been around here (or even other forum message boards) can show a new member around and help when there are questions. It's rather informal really. The site is full of people that will help you. Just ask around.

2 hours south of O-Town. It wouldn't happen to be the film school would it? I had a friend who went to the film school near there.

It's a school for video game design, Darklanser. He wants to make more games for Gamecube

The school is called Full Sail. I just drove by it saturday morning on the way to the airport. Great school for Film/Audio and now game design.
