Invitation By Sec. General Ban Ki-Moon Accepted; No Date Scheduled Yet

(CBS) NEW YORK CBS 2 has learned that Pope Benedict XVI is planning to visit New York City for a trip to the United Nations headquarters.

There is no date scheduled for the visit just yet, but the United Nations confirmed that Secretary General Ban Ki-moon met with the Pope and extended an invitation for the visit, to which the Pope agreed.

Press Office Director Fr. Federico Lombardi S.J. made the announcement Friday. "The Pope," said Fr. Lombardi, "has accepted the invitation in general terms, and has expressed his willingness to visit the U.N. headquarters, although as yet there is no date or program for the trip."

Could this be related to the UFO seen over the Vatican recently? Why is the Pope visiting NY city and the UN? The last Pope visit to the UN in 1975 and 1995.

Didn't Nostradamus warn the pope (not sure which pope) against going to "the city of two rivers"? I'm not sure if this means New York, but with Nostradamus nothing is certain anyway.

Why would'nt the pope go to New York, I mean of course he'll want face
time at the U.N., make him feel more important, add to that that we're
one of the msot religious western countries, and have a significant
amount of Catholics in the country, it makes sense he would.

I don't know it could or course just be the "new pope welcome visit" to NYC. But I was wondering if it perhaps had anything to do with the UFO reports from there and all the talk of disclosure thats been about lately.
