How Do You Join The Free Masons?

I was talking to a daughter of a free mason today, and she told me to join that i would have to go through demolay...what is this demolay and does anyone know the process to join...also what exatly do they stand for (or supposedly stand for?)

You dont need DeMolay. If you are a man 18 to 21 depending on where you live email your state Grand Lodge and they will put you in contact with some one to talk with you.

k well i live in canada toronto area...i have the daughter who is going to give me more information about this a little later tonight and she said that her brother is also a part of the masons...

My lodge here in Maryland has a sign on the door, if interested in freemasonry, call this number or send an email to this address. After that they'll contact you and then you just have to ask.
