Explosions rock Algerian capital

At least 17 people have been killed after several blasts rocked Algeria's capital - one exploding near the prime minister's office.
Nine died after a car bomb targeted the government buildings in the centre of the capital, Algiers.

Another explosion hit a police station in the east of Algiers, near the city's international airport, killing eight.

Holy Cow.... No one saw that coming.

This happened so close to the pm's office that it shows a serious lack of security.

I often wonder at how close destruction may be for us all with events like this.

Awful, just awful.
