Saddam Judge Flees Iraq

Abdel-Rahman headed the Supreme Iraq Criminal Tribunal that heard Saddam's genocide trial and found the former Iraqi president guilty, leading to his execution.

The overthrowing of Saddam was supposed to pave the way for a more free, just and secure Iraq.

An important step, if not the most important on that road, was to handle down a sentence, to let justice prevail on Saddam.

Unfortunately --but to some quite logical-- it's only gotten worse since his controversial execution. Security have only declined further, judged by the sectarian violence.

And now this judge obviously feels the earth burning under his feet.

IMO, he should be forced to stay and enjoy the results of his mockery parody of justice, puppet-on-a-string work so he could "enjoy" the new Iraq he's been part of creating.

Britain or wherever he go, he won't have no safety, but fears, looking over his shoulder until he dies.
