Liverpool defender Djimi Traore could be set to quit Anfield.

The Reds are believed to be ready to listen to offers for Traore, as they plan for next season.

The expected arrival of Brazilian defender Fabio Aurelio from Valencia would increase competition for places even more at the FA Cup winners and in the process restricting Traore's chances of playing regularly.

He is only 26 and i think he is quite a good defender and there will be plenty of interest in him.

I am suprised Traore has lasted as long as he has at Anfield, hes an alright defender but i dont think hes tottaly reliable. Put it this way, would you see him getting anywere near the team at Chelsea, Barcelona, Milan?

The guy they are being linked with, i think hes been at Valencia for a while, might have been a Benitez buy?

Not sure if he would get a game though with Riise playing, i guess it might happen. But like you say, i would imagine there wuold be competition for him
