Aston Villa midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba is set to be out for at least six weeks after picking up a hamstring strain.

The Cameroon international may not even play again this season as the campaign draws to a close in what is a blow to boss David O'Leary. The Villa manager is obviously disappointed with the news but admitted the former Manchester United man was bought for the future.

O'Leary seems to think that he has something and that he can get something out of him. If he does manage to do it then it could turn out to be a good deal as they got him at a reasonable price.

i think in fairness with o'leary, usually he does get the best out of players.

remember how good smith was at leeds, alot of the players under him there where great, and there standards seem to have dropped a bit.
